Howdy,This fall 2005 we only had 12 hunters and killed 8 bear and 1 wounded. The fellas that hunted hard done well.
The ones that partied and went home early had a fun time I guess, but not as successful with the bears. I had 2 succesfull archery hunters out of 3. No black powder hunters this year.
Prices are up from last year, if you book before Mar 30 and I receive your deposit, you can use last years prices.
One of my repeat customers got a faboulus bear the very first night from a ground blind that he and his girlfriend was a setting on. It was 450 pounds and took 5 of us to carry it out after we got the very excited truck driver unstuck. It droped dead where it was shot with one shot from a 300 whby mag. that had went through a house fire 2 years previous.
Old guns don't forget how to shoot but it also helps if the shooter is on the ball.
There was several cancelations due to huricane Katrina and the price of gas. I'm thinking this year i will book up early.
I'll be in Columbus Ohio for the spring show there March 17-19th 2006.
I have a older gentleman that wants to come up this year and shoot a bear before he gets to old. He's 92 !!!!! A person is never too old or too young to do what they like the best. I can cater to most needs.
